These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of laureltonelectric.com (the “Site”) and the electrical services we provide. By using the Site or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Laurelton Electric
Laurelton Electric has been a family-owned, licensed, bonded, and insured electrical contractor based in Rosedale, New York since 1935. We provide residential and commercial electrical services across New York City and surrounding areas.
License: New York City Department of Buildings licensed electrical contractor.
2. Service Estimates
Estimates we provide are based on the information available at the time of the estimate. Final costs may vary if site conditions, code requirements, or scope of work change. We will inform you in advance of any material change before performing the additional work.
3. Scheduling and Cancellation
Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled with reasonable advance notice. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day; emergency dispatch fees may apply during nights, weekends, and holidays. Cancellation of confirmed work less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may incur a service-call fee.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon completion of the work. We accept major credit cards, ACH transfer, and check. Late payments may be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by New York law, whichever is less.
5. Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. Defects in workmanship discovered during this period will be repaired at no additional labor cost. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, modification by others, or normal wear and tear. Material warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
Except as expressly stated in the workmanship warranty above, our services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent allowed. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our maximum liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.
7. Site Content and Intellectual Property
The content on laureltonelectric.com — text, images, logos, and structured data — is the property of Laurelton Electric or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share the content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or republish it without our written permission.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to (a) submit false or misleading information, (b) impersonate another person, (c) interfere with the Site’s operation, or (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
9. Third-Party Services
The Site uses third-party services including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google reviews display (Trustindex), ChatSupport live chat, and Brevo email delivery. Your use of those services through our Site is also subject to their own terms.

From time to time we may use internal tools that connect to our own business systems (such as our accounting software) to manage operations. These tools are for our internal use only and do not affect or expose customer data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number to Laurelton Electric — through our website contact form, by phone, or in person — and opting in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from us related to your service request, such as returning a missed call, coordinating appointment times, answering questions, and occasional review requests after a completed job.
